About Us
The present moment is our anchor.
We curate + design pieces with our Muse in mind: a woman who is so thoroughly living her life (submerging her heart so fully in life's pleasures and lessons) that she has no interest in looking perfect.
She has laugh lines from laughing often; freckles and tan lines from moments under the sun. Her white poplin shirts are always crisp but occasionally starting to fray at the cuffs; both her favorite leather sandals (bought on vacation in Capri) and oft-worn Alaia heels have both been victims of her dog. For jewelry, she would love our pieces and mix them up with everything from precious old heirlooms to colorful plastic beaded necklaces made by her children.
She knows to be present, and in being so present, she exudes so much joy and easy chic.
Bonbontemps can be read two ways:
- bonbon temps (candy/sweet times),
- bon, bon temps (good, good times!)
Both ways work really well for us. :)
